Each family will receive a comprehensive report that includes a treatment plan and recommendations for the family to begin implementing immediately. If a comprehensive formal evaluation has been completed by another agency or school district within the past year the Speech Language Pathologist can review the information and determine if it can be accepted or if an additional evaluation is warranted.

We accept private pay, HSA, and FSA.  When HSA and FSA are used processing fees will apply.  Regardless of payment method, clients can be provided with a detailed invoice for each session that includes all information necessary to submit to insurance for reimbursement.

School Contract Services

At Cherry Tree Therapy, we are a small practice dedicated to providing exceptional contract services to schools. As an experienced speech-language pathologist, I take a vested interest in the schools and programs I support, going beyond just filling a position to creating collaborative relationships with the team and program administrators. School contract services are offered for AAC consultation, PRN, part-time, and full-time positions - in-person and via telepractice.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Consultation Services

AAC consultative services can be used to target a specific student or an entire classroom. Consultation is provided to educators and/or family members and is focused on setting up the student for communication success within the educational setting.  This service may include a review of communication systems currently in place, informal exploration of alternative communication solutions, setting up the classrooms, school building, and/or device-specific training and troubleshooting.  An implementation plan will be put in place for the student’s team of teachers to reference.

I am experienced in supporting programs and students in the following ways:

  • Delivering push-in and pull-out services

  • Providing supervision for speech assistants

  • Performing comprehensive evaluations

  • Writing thorough reports with measurable goals

  • Developing IEP goals and service recommendations

  • Participating in and/or leading meetings

  • Collaborating with general education and multi-disciplinary teams

  • Setting up classrooms for all means of communication success

  • Training teachers on implementation of communication needs
